Dear David:

Dick Baker has an excellent point on school closures in the April XIth Edmonton Journal David. School Councils with a mix of parents and school folks from administration are a great idea. They could probably find alternatives II at least some of the school closures. As we near thew meeting on April XIIIth, MMX to decide the fate of the schools, I would go one step farther David & say that Dick should say that the youth component in his letters should be composed of all youth types, including students themselves. Both the affected students as well as students from outside the closure youth community who are completely non biased.

You never know what students might come up with David. The children are the future. Lets give them 1st crack at coming up with youth battle contingencies that adults might not have thought of. I am sure the Trustees would be pleased to have any form of help they can get.
