Dear David:

I must truly applaud Edmonton Public School Superintendent Edgar Schmidt on his reorganizational skills. Edmonton Public was becoming too top heavy what with VII Asst. Super's who sat in backrooms instead of being on the front line, where the action is. Where the kids are. So Schmidt deserves a lot of credit for reconfiguring & cannibalizing the jobs into partial administrative & partial hands on immediate problem solving supervisors.

Sarah O'Donnell's column on this in the Edmonton Journal was spellbinding. I agree 100% by Edmonton Public officials what with the closures that they must rededicate their efforts to the kids. Especially fostering friendlier learning environments and as close to as 100% as possible IV high school completion rates.
