Dear Jeff:

I was truly sorry to hear of the passing of former Edmonton Public School Trustee & Chairwoman Rose Rosenberger. Rose also served on Edmonton City Council & the Edmonton Police Commission. As part of the gang of three with Jim Taylor & LeRoy Chahley, they were an effective voting team & triumvate for common sense on council. Now with LeRoy gone as well, the gang who retired in MMI together is down to one.

Rose did well by the students of Edmonton. She was insightful, thoughtful, & a lady with common sense To have her die of a heart attack so young at 67 is sad. Just like my late mother, June C. Koopmans (a retired teacher) who died at 68, we will miss Rose. Mother like Rose b/c she was very sharp & adept/on the ball at school board meetings. My mother got the sense that Rose cared, as did many other people.
