Dear Adriana

- I am thankful that in this nation, we can still mark our ballots to choose our leaders at election time. All that being said, its appalling that Edmonton Catholic voters were given Edmonton Public ballots where in they could then vote for Public Trustee candidates & vice versa, Edmonton Elections doesn't even seem that concerned, why? This makes no sense as what 6/7th's of the Edmonton Catholic Board was acclaimed so only voters in the single Catholic Ward with a race should get ballots to mark their choice. The other Catholic Wards the Acclaimed Trustee winner should still have their name listed with the word "acclaimed" by it or next to it. Also why is Edmonton Catholic Schools allowed to say only Catholics can run for their Board? Especially when Public School Boards are open for all to run in, even Catholics? Seems like human rights discrimination to me!

- I am thankful that the quality of the ballot papers & accompanying voting instructions were easy to read for me & that the paper was of high quality to ensure my votes counted in both the federal & municipal writs. No "Chad's a hanging!"

- I am thankful that "in person" forums have given way to online chats with candidates. These were wise precautions what with this evil Delta Covid-XIX Variant!
