Hon. Adriana LaGrange, MLA, Minister of Education, United Conservative, Red Deer-North
Dear Adriana:
Ward G Edmonton Public School Board Trustee Bridget Stirling leaves the political stage with a remark on the importance of listening to children so as they learn to develop a healthy dialogue & vocabulary during their educational journey.
"Our failure to listen means that children are acting to seize our attention."
"Bridge"t On The River Kwai"",
Rory
An Editor's Note: For full disclosure, I was twice a candidate for Ward G for the Edmonton Public School Board Ward G as it is presently comprised until the new borders kick in on October XVIIIth, MMXXI. So it is truly a riding I care about & I knocked on many doors & met plenty of residents there. Its should be noted that in first run, I was involved in a traffic accident at the start of the campaign & had to spend a night in hospital due to an injury of my arm & foot which was well looked after. So of course I had to withdraw, this was in MMVII. In MMXV I ran in a Ward G Byelection (& was unsuccessful) due to the resignation of then Trustee Sarah Hoffman who went onto become a New Democratic MLA & Cabinet Minister in the Her Majesty's New Democratic Cabinet of then Premier Rachel Notley.
