Dear Adriana:
Edmonton City Councillor Candidate Gabrielle Battiste in Ward O-Day'Min turns out to be the President & Chairwoman of the Autism Edmonton Society. I mean how great is that? Especially as Gabby can then advocate for learning disabled autistics who have Asperger's Syndrome or "high functioning" autism like myself; as well as for those autistics who are less oral/talkative. So on council, she'd be a voice for all autistics in her ward & the city, including students & their families.
