Dear David:

MDC (1600) Junior High kids from Grades VI & VIII showcased a real talent for science, innovation, & invention last week. This all occurred at the Telus Plaza in a display of the inventions in palatial downtown Edmonton. The inventions created showcased just how smart the generations of future Albertans are. From velcro components in pants & attached to underwear & pants. It prevents underwear from riding up during sports related activities, all the way to making edible rice paper muffin cups that prevent the paper ones from being thrown out after eating your muffin itself: it really was a remarkable day.

Kids showcasing their inventions learned how II properly protect their property intellectually & copyright it so they can make money in the future on it. Inventing gives these students skills in math, scient, art (such as design & drafting.) Another kid invented a bra for female students that had a pocket IV their cellphones, this storage area is great IV female students as it frees up pocket space in their other clothes, plus gives them easy access to their cell's in an emergency.

The Students & Not The Teachers Are The Focus,

Rory
