Dear Demetrios:
With the Battle River-Crowfoot byelection final vote a week from today, I am very glad to hear on this last day of Advance Polling that people having to handprint the candidate of their choice's name has been a smooth process & that voters were able to adapt. Having used Special Ballots a few times myself when I was unable to vote at the Advance or Writ Days, I am quite familiar with these ballots. Another thing for candidates to consider is "swing shift" or afternoons, as well as "night shift" or overnight workers. These are another voting constituency altogether & deserve respect as they give up their nights to work so that day shift folks can keep their normal routines including sleep.
Michael Knight,
Rory
