Dear Demetrios:
In the campaign against colorectal cancer, I am extremely proud of 880 AM Ched 9am-12pm Host Shaye Ganam for recently getting a colonoscopy & being so open about it & getting regular checks, a public figure, it is good that Shaye encourages others to get checked & fight cancer or the potential for it hard. I do remember Katie Couric then of NBC News "Today" getting a colonoscopy live on television that was a truly amazing thing for her to do as her Ist husband Jay Monahan died of cancer & he was just I believe 42 years old. Candidates in the Battle River-Crowfoot byelection & constituents/voters should be aware of charitable endeavors they can be involved with as all help is appreciated!
Also, I am also pleased that 880 Ched AM Host for 5:30am-9am Stacey Brotzel is out here in Spruce Grove promoting the "30th Annual Gary Draeger Memorial Golf Tournament" at "The Links." I am not in the tournament, but I've played that course twice in my life & am pleased to see all funds raised go to 880 Ched AM's "Santas Anonymous", a most worthwhile charity that helps kids & their families who are struggling during the holiday season. This is most certainly another charitable campaign worth fighting for. Sad that Katie has to fight breast cancer now herself!
