Hon. Demetrios Nicolaides, B. A., M. P. S., Ph. D., ECA, MLA, Minister of Education, United Conservative, Calgary-Bow

Dear Demetrios:

The candidates in the Battle River-Crowfoot byelection must realize how important their riding is for railway shipping. What with all their feeder lines to Eastern Canada through Saskatchewan, out through Alberta to the West Coast, up north to the Territories, & south to the US of A. I am here at Grand Trunk Recreation Centre near the Grand Trunk Canadian National (CN) Intermodal Grand Trunk Railyard, a very historic hub for a very important line in the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway. It is important as a candidate to emphasize rail safety in transport of both people & cargo. Becoming the next MP is a big deal as railroads are clearly defined as "federal" jurisdiction. So the new MP will have a vote in Parliament on infrastructure & safety improvements in terms of railroads throughout The Dominion Of Canada for the duration of their term. Lets be safe out there so railroad police don't have to deal with as many injuries or deaths such as in railway cars, or at crossings.

Being "Railroaded",

Rory
