Children should not only learn II understand their own emotions (both good & bad), but the emotions of other kids as well. In this way, if a student has a problem, s/he can be helped in a more timely matter. Thus alleviating the stress of the situation faster & preventing a possible violent outburst with proper adult supervisory &/or medical help.
