The Red Chamber/La Chambre Rouge

September IIIrd, MMXXI

Hon. Adriana LaGrange, MLA, Minister of Education, United Conservative, Red Deer-North

Dear Adriana:

Here in Sherwood Park-Fort Saskatchewan, or anywhere/any federal riding in the country, you must take note that while there are no Members Of Parliament (MPs) currently there are still Canadian Senators & the Governor-General that since they are appointed, you can still write to postage free. Which is superb in this election writ time period as it allows the business of The Dominion Of Canada to continue on a full constituent to parliamentarian basis.

You just write: Name of Senator, Senate Of/Senat Du Canada, Ottawa,  Ontario K1A 0A4

And: The Rt. Hon. Her Excellency Governor-General Mary Simon, PC, Rideau Hall, 1 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0A1

Of course, citizens should feel free to contact the constituency & parliamentary office staffs of the last MP who held office until the writ drop. They still function whilst the writ is on. However, standard postage rates apply because you can't write "MP" behind the name of anyone on the envelope. The free mailing privileges are restored once all 338 MPs in the new Parliament are sworn in. However I am glad the members of The Red Chambre/La Chambre Rouge are there for Canadians year round to assist with parliamentary & governmental matters any way they can.

"Senate Chamber Of Sober IInd Thought",

Rory
