Representing a rural riding with honest, small town folks, Leon Benoit, MP is proud of the fact that his governing party is bring forward measures to protect Canadian consumers from being ripped off. With of course poorer folks & those with lower incomes being the most vulnerable to practices such as "price-fixing" for instance.

"These measures, & others are taking effect to protect Canadian consumers against unfair retail practices. We will continue to make common sense changes which will ensure that Canadians & their families get what they pay for when purchasing goods we buy every day, such as gas, clothes & groceries."
