Dear Gordon:

Just like here in Edmonton where Mayor Don Iveson & Edmonton City Council cannot get totally sustainable funding for light rail transit & to replace aging bus fleets, the Hon. Ron Cannan, PC, MP faces the same trouble federally in his riding. The problem is universal the world over, how do provide safe & reliable public transportation while at the same time ensuring that regular vehicle traffic is not impeded by it & vice versa? Also, how do you get students & workers who cannot afford to purchase, rent, or lease a vehicle affordable transport to & from school & work so that the economy &/or their studies do not suffer?
