Dear Jeff:

While "True & False" exams can provide valuable raw data like "Multiple Choice" exams, there is no substitute IV the written word. Teachers need to make sure that their written essay questions have an equal value to any other question format of that said exam. This will give them a true gauge as to how a student(s) is/are doing in a particular subject area(s.)
