"A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand!"-Ms. Rice

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

December XXVIIIth, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

As the Former District Attorney of Nassau County, New York Congresswoman Kathleen Rice chats with student reporters on ensuring their safety & that of their families at airports. This makes sense for Kathy to be involved as she knows that in the criminal justice system, the people are represented II separate yet equally important groups. The police who investigate crime & the district attorneys (like in her former job) who prosecute the offenders. So airport safety legislation is key for families.

"As several recent incidents have shown, weak access controls can too easily allow airline employees to sneak weapons, drugs & other dangerous items into secure areas of airports & onto commercial flights, & that's a risk we simply cannot accept."

New York City,

Rory
