Naval-Cpt. Gray

December VIth, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

As the Acting Commanding Officer of the United States Naval Station aka "Base" (which is rented) at Guantanamo Bay, Captain Scott Gray, a loyal member of the United States Navy steps into a unique situation. Now with normalized relations by XLIVth President Barack H. Obama, Democratic-Illinois (Kenya) & XVIIIth Cuban Presidente Raoul Castro, Communist, Scotty has to strike a balance in diplomacy while also making sure the prison there, as well as other military interests are protected. So a sphere of influence if you will. An Editor's Note: Students of military history will note that active armed forces personnel don't state a political leaning & so I place the Captain's picture in the neutral centre. Here Scott talks about a sense that needs to be established of family, which makes sense as military families live on the base grounds.

"You know the great thing about a community like this is that we all pull together in tough times & help each other. And we become each other's extended family. That's great!"

Havana,

Rory
