Dear Jeff:
It is time to rely on "the best of the best" once again as students are back in school, Executive Dissertations calls upstairs upon Mrs. June C. Koopmans, B. Ed., teacher at Grade II's Afton Elementary School to give us a lesson plan for students to follow.
PLANS
Tuesday, September 21st, 1971:
Printing: L1, Leslie.
Reading: "S" worksheet, quiz: unit 1.
"O" oral work.
Arithmetic: "S": p. 35 red & brown "O", p. 35-red.
Spelling: #3B.
Story: "Little Pig in the Cupboard."
Music: continued: "You are my Sunshine" both singing & with instruments to get kids excited about music.
Language: oral quiz on following directions & listening.
Social Studies: television program on different Canadian aboriginal tribes.

Entertainment: let students practice being assistant supervisors with me during afternoon recess so they learn responsibility & how to care for others. Qualities they'll need for when they become adults.
