When Brucey McAllister joined the now Premier & walked over to PC Alberta as 1 of 9 in MMXV, he was handed the PC Alberta nomination for Chestermere-Rockyview by acclamation when another candidate, Jamie Lall was judged to have done something wrong. It's most likely why Brucey didn't win his seat as a PC Candidate & was instead defeated by then Wildrose Candidate Leela Aheer in that election campaign. The perception is there that Bruce was no longer legitimate to ever being an MLA again & quite rightly. It should be pointed out that Jamie Lall was cleared & never actually charged with doing anything wrong so the nomination vote was taken away from him & handed to Brucey all on a silver platter for no legitimate reason whatsoever. Marlaina Danielle just made him The Southern Alberta Office Of The Premier Chief Of Staff for Calgary to throw him a bone as a past caucus pal, probably because he couldn't get any other work as Global News Calgary was to ashamed to hire him back. Then this overpaid & arrogant little prick of a man (who was a subpar MLA from all accounts) verbally beats down on an underage & politically engaged Albertan. Fuck, I sure as hell know what that feels like, but I let it go. I have to as its just not worth it. The Alberta Next Panel is a farce, as is Brucey. He's the kind of guy you know is the one to blow silent but deadly & smelly farts in the room & then blame teenagers & the Alberta NDP & those who disagree with him. Brucey has less faculties now than Bruce Willis who has dementia!
