Dear David:

As much as I respect "In-Camera" Edmonton Public School Board Chairwoman Catherine Ripley's right II vote IV &/or against all motions, I really wish she had voted IV Ward C Trustee Christopher Spencer's motion II ensure total equality in Edmonton Public Schools IV those students of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender (LGBT) Community. I mean VIII-I (8-1) is a nice figure, but IX-0 (9-0) would have been nicer.

That being said, I am glad her fellow Trustees didn't defame her IV deciding II go with her conscience & vote against the motion. Now that the issue has passed the hard part begins. That part is enforcing the new initiative & making sure students & any person(s) of LGBT origin feel safe on a daily basis in the Edmonton Public Schools System. May this initiative catch on & be passed widely in other jurisdictions!

Progressive,

Rory
