Dear David:

It was certainly wise of Strathcona Composite High School & Harry Ainlay High School II cancel their trip II Japan. Especially sad IV the students as they had their other plans cancelled IV an initial trip II Egypt cancelled b/c of the unrest over there caused by the chaos & successful overthrow of Former President Hosni Mubarak & his psychotic & despotic regime.

Sad indeed, but if the students want to go on a trip, might I suggest the environs of their own backyard. Their are plenty of great places II be in the Dominion of Canada. Or perhaps they could explore Hawaii, Alaska, or the contiguous XLVIII (48) United States fully attached II North America. With the drug violence, Mexico is just too violent. But if you cannot explore with your family & your class an off continent site, then pick a site on continent. There are many things, places, & fascinating people II learn from in the North American socioeconomic fabric.

Let Us All Pray IV The Great Citizens Of Japan & Their Nearby Asia-Pacific Neighbours,

Rory
