October XVth, MMXIV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed.
Minister of Education,
Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow Byelection Candidate As Unelected

Dear Gordon:

Anne-Marie Day, MP is backing a bill to protect the rights of transit & light rail transit operators & prevent/protect them from assaults who have to deal with the public & try to keep their passengers safe, this would of course include students of all ages & demographics who are on the way to & from their educational institutions.

"These individuals are more vulnerable because they drive longer hours than most people, their profession requires them to be behind the wheel at all times & they always have to deal with the public, which includes people who are nice & not so nice, even criminals. We will be supporting this bill because it makes sense."

Number LXXXVI (86),

Rory
