October IVth, MMXIV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow Byelection Candidate As Unelected

Dear Gordon:

As the Ist (1st) Chancellor of the University Of Buffalo, President Millard Fillmore knew that suffering losses in life was natural IV students at his school, just as it was in everyday life, even in areas such as politics. So the President wanted to instill in Americans that they cannot always expect to win in life. Hurdles must be faced & some will be overcome & some will not & thus call for compromise situations & students shouldn't be ashamed of any failures as they start on their life & family paths.

"An honourable defeat is better than a dishonourable victory."

July IXth, MDCCCL (1850)-March IVth, MDCCCLIII (1853),

Rory
