The Parliamentarians-Kirsty Duncan, MP

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

October XXth, MMXIV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow Byelection Candidate As Unelected

Dear Gordon:

As a medical geographer with a doctorate in this field & a former university professor, Kirsty Duncan, MP is quite the intelligent & lovely Member of Parliament. She's informative, insightful, & really has the focused expertise to provide ideas to parliament on medical crisis situations such as say a flu pandemic that would kill many Canadians of all ages including students. Not just in Canada, but on a worldwide basis. This could be an Opposition MP that the Government Of Canada should listen to in the Ebola situation. Here, even Kirsty admits she's stymied & stressed over a lack of a cure & vaccines for a flu pandemic.

"I was horrified we didn't know what caused (Spanish flu), & also knew that if we could find fragments of the virus, we might be able to find a better flu vaccine."

Number XCIX (99),

Rory
