Dear Gordon:

Perhaps Fin Donnelly, MP is the best point man to teach the evils of shark finning & overkilling of these beautiful predators of the deep to students interested in conservation. Having the first name of "Fin" also helps. Fin's point that the oceans need to be repopulated with sharks to restore ecological balance to waters makes a lot of sense.

"Canada can become a world leader in shark conservation & ocean stewardship by adopting legislation to protect sharks. Banning the trade of shark finning is our best hope at giving shark populations a chance to recover."
