Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative Candidate, Calgary-Elbow
Dear Gordon:
On temporary loan from the Los Angeles Police Department Narcotics Division to the Edmonton Police Service Drug Enforcement Detail are Sergeant Joe Friday & Officer Bill Gannon. In a media press conference room the Sarge explains that he is having trouble with street drugs & youth gangsters selling them in schools. While crystal meth seems to be more prevalent here, other drugs are destroying the streets of Los Angeles so that school kids cannot even be safe at school anymore with dealers selling to young & impressionable high school & even younger kids so that they think drug buying & selling is "cool." School of course being a place where kids should learn & play. As the next MLA for Edmonton-Centre, I would want to work in tandem with the officers of the Edmonton Police Service to improve drug laws & such. This makes sense as the EPS main headquarters are located within the boundaries of Edmonton-Centre. Plus, with the new traffic congestion & other things going on with the new arena being downtown, crime will only increase. Thus increasing the chance for drug dealers to sell to students in the area!
"If he gets this pure heroin out to the neighborhood teenagers; it could result in many deaths."
Gracious Of You & Bill To Help Joe,
Rory
