Is it just me or is it completely retarded this decision to ban books at schools. I don't agree with separatists & my fellow UCP cardholders who want these bans in place. I studied "The Handmaid's Tale" by the very lovely & talented Miss Margaret Atwood (& friend of Wade Izzard) in high school. Having 357 High School Credits, 2 High School Diplomas, & English 13-33 & English 10-30, clearly I've outlasted them all & am more able to comment than any other high school student in Alberta on the matter, past, present, or future (undisputed!) Which I of course garnered after my late mother June, a great woman & lady died. Mom was a teacher & told me to reach that number & so I did, that is respect!

As I've already stated, Wade Izzard is a friend of Miss Atwood, & Wade is showing respect for strong women by being supportive of Miss Atwood's book & those of others not being banned. This book, along with many others in school libraries & settings, your decision Demetrios is like the Nixon Presidency. There was a cancer growing on the Presidency & it had to be excised. I could see the graphic pornographic sex books being removed especially for underage kids on your ban list. But Miss Atwood's book, students will just find alternate ways to buy it or borrow it from others. It is a work of art & showcases that women shouldn't ever be treated in such a fashion!

As Executive Dissertations stands down for now since this Battle River-Crowfoot byelection period ends today, I tell voters there, & voters in future writ periods to vote. This of course includes the upcoming municipal elections from September-October MMXXV. If people stop voting, we lose the democratic process because then people will stop caring. Good or bad, I'd rather keep having governments & oppositions voted in by the people rather than folks appointed for life in office, turnover & change is better for democracy!

Sc., LL. B., J.D., KC, PC, MP, Liberal, Edmonton-Centre, Minister Of Emergency Management & Community Resilience & Minister Of Prairies Economic Development Canada. While I don't vote Liberal, I still am glad to get updates from whomever holds the office of MP for my riding. Plus, I admit it is rather good to have your MP at the cabinet table. I encourage Battle River-Crowfoot byelection candidates to work with retired MP Damien Kurek, B. Poli. Sci., B. I must say that even the candidates in the Battle River-Crowfoot byelection would be impressed with how well the Alberta Sheriffs Executive Security Detail did last night at The DoubleTree By Hilton Hotel (formerly The Mayfield Inn & Suites) in protecting the Premier & other panelists from some hostile crowd members. Most especially those who got angry & violent in tone, even swearing into the mic. This is a rather disgusting lack of decorum & civility & I can clearly understand why the Premier said "bullshit" in frustration back to them because that's why they were they providing. That and a clearly unsafe atmosphere where I felt nervous at points, I am sure many in the crowd agreed. The security detail moved around, changed & adjusted positions & got detail members nearby areas where more noisy & hostile crowd members were & closer to the panel. Frankly, it was a rather textbook case of security excellence. I've always said Alberta Sheriffs are great & they are beyond great!

As an aside, on the listing of cabinet or Executive Council members there isn't an email address listed for Hon. Matt Jones, ECA, MLA, Minister of Hospital & Surgical Health Services, United Conservative, Calgary-South East in the Alberta Staff Directory. This is a glaring oversight by His Majesty's UCP Government as Matt would obviously have his own email rather than sharing the health.minister@gov.ab.ca cabinet email with Hon. Adriana LaGrange, ECA, MLA, Minister of Primary & Preventive Health Services, United Conservative, Red Deer-North as he has his own separate health responsibilities. Clearly an email of a cabinet nature should be placed online by Matt's name as quickly as possible to ensure total transparency.

As for Bruce McAllister he was being arrogant when stating his opinion on whether someone should say something or not. He is the moderator, as such he should not be broadcasting his opinions in a form. Very sloppy for an ex MLA & now head of The Southern Office Of The Premier!
