It seems The Rt. Hon. Sir John A Macdonald, PC the Conservative Party Of Canada Leader is the byelection candidate in Victoria, heading out west even farther than Mr. Poilievre in Battle River-Crowfoot. Sir John, having fallen in Kingston like Pierre did in Carleton needs to get back in to keep railroad dreams alive for this great Dominion. Here The Prime Minister talks of keeping a solid "Union" together.

"Whatever you do, adhere to the Union. We are a great country & shall become one of the greatest in the universe, if we preserve it."
