Del Gratia Regina (often short formed to D. G. on coinage) means "By The Grace Of God" or "The Queen." When I see our current Monarch, Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth The IInd on all coinage & on select paper monies, I am so happy she is there "defending the faith." She never tires, she never fails, she stays focused! This is exactly the kind of person you want as your Head Of State!
