Dear Dave:
Some schools still have heavy carpets in certain areas with rips & tears in them rather than the standard mats. I noticed this in several rooms of schools I have visited having run for Edmonton Public School Board Trustee in the past twice. Vinyl mats would definitely be a better option across the board for custodial staffs to clean.
