Dear Dave:

I remember how much I enjoyed collecting hockey cards as a kid. I had my cards accidentally destroyed in a fire & regret not having them to this day. However, I strongly encourage students to collect & trade them as it was a great hobby & a great networking time where you could make contact with fellow enthusiasts!
