Dear/Cher Demetrios:
On this the Cinquieme/Vth Republic Of/Republique De France's Bastille Jour/Day, we need to remember that for candidates in the Battle River-Crowfoot byelection/election partielle, & for Canadians across the Dominion/a travers le Domaine, that it is important to reach out to voters in not just Anglais Et/& French, but other languages as well. There are ethnic communities in the byelection zone, just as there are folks who speak multiple languages, including those who don't speak either official language but still wish to participate, as is their right! Ever since General Wolfe beat General Montcalm on "The Plains Of Abraham"/"Les Plaines D'Abraham", we have to learn respect for multiple languages, such as the English victors did in the early days of Canada when they recognized the rights of Francais families & children who were displaced when their parents died & adopted out. They were able to appeal to both cultures & promote harmony in living for all!
Some Of Canada's Richest & Most Eloquent Languages Are From Our Wonderful Ist Nations/Indigenous Peoples,
Rory
