Pivoting

July XXXth, MMXXV

Hon. Demetrios Nicolaides, B. A., M. P. S., Ph. D., ECA, MLA, Minister of Education, United Conservative, Calgary-Bow

Dear Demetrios:

I can definitely see why Elections Canada has decided to "pivot" (like a National Hockey League (NHL) goalie) over to Adapted or Special Ballots where voters have to print/write the name of the candidate of their choice bin the Battle River-Crowfoot byelection & why that is certainly easier for overall counting procedures. At the same time, I see the argument of The Longest Ballot Committee to. For complete fairness, I believe that any voters who wish to "make their mark" with an "X" should be afforded that option of ballot type if they so choose.

Grant Fuhr,

Rory
