Dear Demetrios:
I am beyond appalled at the actions of the Hon. Nahanni Fontaine, B. A., M. A., MLA, Minister of Accessibility & Families, New Democratic, St. Johns for the Manitoba New Democratic Government could be so abusive & dismissive of a sign language interpreter on stage with her! This would be like people making fun of her for being Ist Nations. There should have been a "red flag warning" in MMXXI when in Opposition, Nahanni falsely stated that then Progressive Conservative Government "didn't care about Ist Nations missing & murdered Indigenous women." I am sure they did & that many Tory MLAs are glad remains were found to put these poor women that were so horribly brutalized to death to a proper & dignified rest.
What offends me most here is I've got Ist Nations Metis relatives, I've got deaf relatives. I've also got Ist Nations relatives who are also deaf. I am sure any & all candidates for the current Battle River-Crowfoot byelection would be proud & honoured to share a stage with a sign language interpreter so that they can share the stage with a person that will help them reach voters with hearing impairment issues who may wish to participate in the democratic process!
