The Assemblywomen-Teresa Woo-Paw, MLA

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

February VIth, MMXV

Hon. Gordon Dirks, B. Ed., M. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, Progressive Conservative, Calgary-Elbow

Dear Gordon:

The Hon. Teresa Woo-Paw, MLA is a former Chairwoman of the Calgary Public School Board. As such she is very interested in getting proper English skills to new immigrants who are to become Canadians but live in a rural setting so that they can adapt faster. She talks of such a program at NorQuest College.

"Earlier this month I had the privilege of speaking at the launch of the Roots & Connections online resource at NorQuest College in Edmonton. Roots & Connections is a new & innovative guide for teachers & volunteers teaching English in rural Alberta communities."

Alta. Legislative Assembly Eighty-One,

Rory
