Well this is sure exciting David, last night by random chance I found myself two rooms down at the Hotel Macdonald from the XLth (40th) Anniversary of Peter Lougheed seizing power from the Social Credit Party of Alberta. I got to meet & greet some former Lougheed officials & shook hands with Premier's Lougheed & Getty & their gorgeous brides. As the Progressive Conservative Association of Alberta starts year XLI (41) of its reign, let us not forget to tell Social Studies & History students to remember the past & take lessons from it on where to go in the future.
