Dear David:

Colin F. Smith, the astute Editor/Reporter of The Edmonton Senior writes in his August MMXI issue about the abuse of seniors in Africa & how the drought & war torn conditions. have affected them adversely. Students who might be interested in gerontology or working with seniors in the medical field just must realize how precious seniors are, even ones incapacitated in wheelchairs & bedridden ones. The seniors in Africa & worldwide need II be treated with respect. I for one suggest that DATS buses & transport vehicles with wheelchair ramps that are retired but still in good shape be sent to Africa. They can then be used to cart incapacitated seniors out of the way safely during times when African gangs come in to try & committ murder. Every senior thats already stressed from being malnourished needs to be protected.

Seniority,

Rory
