The Edmonton Folk Music Festival is this weekend. I encourage students of all ages to attend. Its not just entertaining for students who are interested in taking band practice, but for students who appreciate arts in general. Plus there are student performers themselves on the stage, in addition to the professional acts lined up. This collaborative efforts lets all types & purveyors of music to enrich the stage & makes the lives of their fellow performers & the audience in general richer musically. I definitely encourage students who are consider attending & bringing their family's along so that musical excitement is passed onto future generations.
