Dear David:

Teaching children to share at a younger age is a very important concept. If a parent teaches say his daughter to share some of her toys at the local playground sandbox, the more likely that the children around her will reciprocate. Sharing & learning the concept of being friendly will teach the child(ren) that s/he/they must learn to share throughout life, they will then be able to make deals with others as they grow into their student years, & eventually as adults in the work force.
