Progressive Conservative, Edmonton-Whitemud

Dear David:

Unfortunately due to a committment II drive an older lady in my mom's building to & from the doctor, I could not participate in the IIIrd Annual Mike Lake, MP Pancake Breakfast which was held yesterday. It was held at Mike's new constituency office parking lot at 9225-28 Avenue NW. Having Aspberger's Syndrome, the high functioning form of autism, I appreciate what Mike & his lovely wife Debi do on this matter in raising funds to try & understand this disorder. There are many who try & make fun of autistic kids & adults instead of getting to know what great people they are & how much they can contribute to society.

Mike & Debi have a son named Jaden who is a low functioning autistic, but man I've got to tell you David, this is one awesome kid. His parents & his sister Jenae love him & nurture him. They realize that he is not just a kid with a handicap, but someone who contributes greatly to society. This breakfast has raised a lot of cash in the past, lets hope it continues to IV The Autism Society of Edmonton in Alberta & The Children's Autism Society. Lets try & make life better IV autistics in the classroom setting, no matter what that setting might be; both now & in the future!

Go Mike Go,

Rory
