Dear David:

Baby Keira Keryluk is one tough little girl. She was born with liver disease & needed blood to give her energy while a new matching liver was found. This is a great story b/c when little Keira starts going to school, she can tell her classmates how important it is to give blood to Canadian Blood Services & other approved agency's so that lives can be saved. Its not just old people that can get sick & die, baby's & student age kids can die of disorders such as blood cancers as well.

Keira's mommy & daddy (Kristie & Trent) are now lifelong blood donors at their local blood clinic in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They stress the importance of doing this II help others, just as baby Keira was helped. Heathy & happy, now XXV month old toddler Keira brought her mommy & daddy along to the clinic & wants everyone II know her new liver is working fine.

Child Medical Safety Is Key,

Rory
