October Vth, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

In Missouri, its a case of father & son in office doing their best for the citizens of the St. Louis Congressional District its Congressman William L. Clay, Jr. or "Lacy" as folks call him. Lacy sits in the background in this picture while his father Former Congressman William L. Clay, Sr. takes the foreground (as he should.) Lacy talks about the importance of the police not becoming too militarized, especially after the Michael Brown shooting. Many families think it was because Mike was African-American.

"It's an issue that we need to have a national discussion about, the militarization of local police forces, & then when they are used to quell peaceful demonstration. Then we have a problem, & especially around this entire case of Michael Brown at the hands of a Ferguson police officer."

St. Louis,

Rory
