Gubernatorial-American Samoa

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

October XVIIth, MMXV

Hon. Dave Eggen, B. Ed., MLA, Minister of Education, New Democratic, Edmonton-Calder

Dear Dave:

The American Territory of American Samoa & its Independent Governor Lolo Letalu Matalasi Moliga discuss the importance of having proper financing in place. What with Alberta's multi-billion $ debt, American Samoa also has a huge debt & is facing the same problem in getting budgets passed & just like here in Alberta (& worldwide), budgets are being delayed & many costs that are supposed to be paid for by the government are in fact being offloaded onto students & their families. So he thanks Samoan government officials for passing financial measures to stabilize the national fiscal crisis.

"I am grateful to the Senate President & Senators & House Speaker & Representatives for quickly passing measures in time to generate new revenues for this fiscal year."

Pago Pago,

Rory
