Dear David:

That's a great move II allow Boards II pass their budgets for MMX-MMXI by November XXXth, MMX instead of the usual June XXXth, MMX David. Edmonton Catholic & Boards province wide needed a little extra space II breathe & the delay will allow their successor Boards what 6-7 weeks to scope out new funding alternatives and get a line on where cutbacks need to be made. Let us hope it helps alleviate stresses in the system.

Part of the problem David is infrastructure expansions by Catholic schools like St. Francis Xavier High & Archbishop Macdonald High when they already have perfectly serviceable gymnasiums and sports centres. Or, could have entered rental agreements with other school districts/community halls IV for facility's badly needing revenue I am sure at a much lower cost.
