Dear David:

I must congratulate Special Trustee Colin Kelly of Northland District #LXI (#61) on getting the Bishop Routhier School up & running. Even if its in a limited capacity, Trustee Kelly has done more in VI months then the old Northland Board had ever done. I of course recognize that it took a herculean team effort, but I am also amazed at the superb efforts of the older Grade VI students in wanting II help out & be an "example" to the younger kids by helping set up areas like the library.

What impresses me the most is that the excellent Edmonton Journal Sarah O'Donnell got students II talk & actually write down what they loved about their new school. Then they printed some of the comments. This was great because then the students become the story & not the lousy way in which the school opened due to bureaucratic laziness, incompetence & construction delays.

Lets hope the new school gets up II capacity soon. Hopefully there are no more worries & stresses IV too much longer over the unfinished playgrounds and play equipment.

A Little More Success One Step At A Time,

Rory
