Dear David:

The letter by teacher W. Ian Critchley from Spruce Grove is quite correct. Why should he sacrifice his principles in order II lie and make up false attendance reports? If the kids are not attending the Paul Band School or any school, then they should be marked as absent! Whenever I was absent in school I always got a Dr's note if it was IV a medical reason & if it was a family matter, I'd get a parent to sign. Seems II me Paul Band officials shouldn't be trying II trick governments out of extra band money IV work programs if the students didn't actually complete their yearly allotted school hours.

Sincerely,

Rory
