Mayors Galore-Clarke: Part 2

Rory J. Koopmans, B. Admin., #6, 14504-108 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5N 1G8

September XXIIIrd, MMXXV

Hon. Demetrios Nicolaides, B. A., M. P. S., Ph. D., ECA, MLA, Minister of Education, United Conservative, Calgary-Bow

Dear Demetrios:

Back for his Part 2 is XVth Mayor Of Edmonton Joseph Andrew Clarke. This go around Joseph had a brief policing career then switched to become a lawyer when he came to Edmonton. In the strike mentioned in his first post, Joseph worked with strikers to present their demands to negotiators in a calming manner & he also refused strikebreakers being used, this was a credit to him as Mayor as it prevented violence from breaking out. Joseph was a great athlete in track & field, lacrosse, & football. He passed this athleticism onto citizens to get them to be in better shape.

Gwendolen His Wife Served From MCMXLII-MCMXLII For A Year To Honour Her Late Husband's Public Service,

Rory
