Unique in Edmonton's electoral history, we have XXIVth Mayor Of Edmonton William Hawrelak back for a Part 3. The only Mayor to ever accomplish that & even with his corruption that I admit does have to be respected. William Hawrelak Park (formerly Mayfair Park) is named in his honour. William stacked City boards, let his property taxes fall into arrears, & appointed a disbarred lawyer as his personal assistant.

The Only Way For Mayor Hawrelak To Leave Power Without Controversy Was To Die In Office As He Did,
